What is Mobility Management?

  • Coordination: Mobility management is an approach for organizing and providing coordinated transportation services to all customers, including older adults, people with disabilities, and individuals with lower incomes. Mobility management meets individual customer needs by coordinating available transportation options and service providers.
  • Education: Mobility management helps take the “scary” out of riding the bus. If you don't know where to start or what to do, call the Transportation Link-Line. We offer free transit orientation to groups or individuals.
  • Solutions: Mobility management helps identify gaps in transportation service and helps create solutions to address these needs through the collaboration of human service organizations, mobility managers, and service providers.
  • Provide Information: Mobility management exists to help individuals, human service organizations, employers and the public maximize the benefits of transportation options in their area. Contact the Mobility Manager at the Transportation Link-Line at 607-535-3555.
